| A couple of miles east of Enniskillen on the A4 at TAMLAGHT is the
Carrothers Family Heritage Museum (April-Oct Mon-Sat 11am-7pm; £1.50),
an astonishing collection of old books, swords, bottles and various
curios hoarded over two hundred and fifty years. Another specialist
collection hereabouts is in the village of BROOKEBOROUGH , seven miles
east of Tamlaght, where Robert Coalter's Cycle Museum (April-Sept Mon-Fri
5-9pm, Sat 2-8pm; £2) displays more than sixty vintage cycles, including
post office and butcher's boys' bikes and a real old treasure from the
1870s with levers instead of pedals. |
