CARRIGART |

|
| |
| CARRIGART is the back-door entrance to the Rosguill Peninsula. It's
a beguiling village, whose bars define the essence of the place: P.
Logue's, at the west end of town, is a welcoming sort of hideaway.
Accommodation is available in the village at Hol-Tel Carrigart (tel
074/55114; £70-90/¬88.88-114.28) and Sheephaven Lodge (tel 074/55685;
£33-40/¬41.90-50.79), both open between April and September. There are
plenty of stores for stocking up on provisions or you can eat
economically at Weavers Restaurant. The only bank on the peninsula is in
Carrigart (July & Aug Mon-Fri 10am-noon; rest of year Mon, Tues, Thurs &
Fri 10am-noon). |
